My package has finally arrived!! Yay!! I bought it through the internet last week and it arrived this morning!

MatLab and Electricals Suck!
Some outdated photos:
Hot-Dog-Scapper:
20 1901 hot dogs! Yummy! It was the 19th and one hotdog was priced
at only 2.00! I ate 4 hot dogs for lunch XD!
(Andrew Kong’s in the background! The supplier.. 67 hotdogs! Many pretty angry queue-ing people were hunting him down.
FYI.. He curls up into a ball and rolls to uni… =P)
BRIDGE PROJECT
We were supposed to build a bridge that would support minimum 20kg for 20 seconds out of only NEWSPAPER AND GLUE!!
Marks were given based on the weight and the deflection of the bridge. The lighter and the least deflection, the more marks are given. Additional marks will be given based on elegance and the symmetry of the bridge..(Full marks for that.. kekeke)
My team got the highest score in that session! Wheee!! 24.8/25 I think… =)

Only newspaper and glue! Very environmentally friendly. Scale is 1/200.
Dimensions: 80cm x 7.5cm x 7.5cm
Weight: 1.093 kg
Close up! It actually looks bloody disgusting because of all the newspaper and glue.. I stayed up until 2.30am to do some final touches…
This was to test whether the bridge would be stable enough for vehicles to pass through.. The toy weighs 1kg. And see the weights on the top right side of the picture??
My bridge survived the 20kg trial and only deflected 1mm. And so we added weights until it reached 50kg. The bridge snapped because of a loose piece of paper if not we could have went to at least 60kg. Oh well..
My teammate Yu Liang posing with the broken bridge.
He looks as if he was about to cry..
The remains!! =( But we still won.. LOL!
Holding a piece of the bridge and celebrating silently.. =P
People in the background were sulking.. XD
Nah.. Just kidding…
Having fun with the broken parts… Felt damn high due to the lack of sleep..
We decided to hunt and corner Xander to release the stress..
Target acquired…
Another team’s bridge.. Strong eh? That’s not me in the picture btw..
My friend Yu Liang carrying Jon attempting the test the strength of the bridge.. Well something went in pieces. Don’t worry it wasn’t Jon..
And Lastly..
Doing some stupid Samurai pose in the project lab the night before bridge testing! Carrying a wooden samurai sword and wearing a half dome polystyrene thingy..
And yes! That is me!!
(damn! my legs look short in this pic!)
Till next time people! =D
