The Holiday Season

Ahh.. The holiday season... Decorations of red bells, green mistletoe and silver banners fill the atmosphere with people walking around happily with friends and family on brightly lit streets and parks.. And a plump man with rosy cheeks dressed in red and white is sitting somewhere answering childrens' requests. Ahh yes.. Christmas.. A public holiday here and anywhere else in the world........ Except the fact that I had work on that day... with a slight fever.. Oh dear..

It was quite an unusual experience actually. I had never worked during a public holiday or a festive day like Christmas before.. Every year, I would normally go out with friends and have a blast who knows where.. Where we go is actually unplannad from the start, that's why things start to get fun when you start travelling and hopping all around KL. I still remember my friends and I watched AVP 2: Alien Vs Predator last Christmas and it was quite a weird one. One thing's for sure was that the girls were not too comfortable with it.. Heh heh..

And so jumping back into this time frame.. Even though I was down with a slight fever, I had to work because they needed people. Well, it was kind of an unpleasent feeling when working when you're feeling uncomfortable. You get dizzy and dehydrated real quick because it was really cold. Initially, during the start of my shift, there were many customers but only a handful of them bought stuff.. It feels frustrating when the customers try and try and try clothes and in the end they run off sayin that shirt isn't their size.. Yeesh! As the time went by, it was no different than a Monday morning.. Empty! In the end, I punched out at 10.30 because I had some extra work to do.. And was I tired..

Oh well, gonna just relax at home for today and recuperate.. Ahhh! C'ya guys!
